Bravo Nino Rota also exists as a 60 min or (preferably) 90 min live performance. The show has been performed at the Melbourne festival, Adelaide Cabaret festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, and has toured Queensland and been performed in the Famous Spiegeltent.

Peter has had a longtime interest in this music, and in 1993 was awarded a Churchill fellowship to enable him to research the scores - he travelled to the US to meet the composer's daughter, and then to Italy where he was able to study the original film scores at the Rota archive at the Fondatione Cini in Venice. He also travelled to Rome and Bari (where Rota taught) to interview friends and colleagues of the composer. Peter is in the process of writing a book on this subject, and he lectures regularly at the Australian Film television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney to Screen Composition students.
